Female administrators play a unique role in managing school Districts. They are responsible for operating their departments, responding to community concerns and complaints, implementing effective educational programs for students, working with employee unions, and ensuring compliance with the law. This requires that the female administrator establish effective working relationships with their Board, fellow cabinet members, their employee unions, and others. This presentation will discuss the traits unique to women administrators that will either help or hinder their ability to successfully navigate these relationships and implement strategies and procedures beneficial to the District.
